Field Sales Manager

Job Description

Another newly created role due to growth! As our new North Island Field Sales Manager you will be responsible for generating revenue and managing our field sales team (including merchandisers). You will work cross-functionally with internal teams for execution of field sales activities and objectives. You will be accountable for the development and execution of new accounts and sales plans in order to ensure that the overall sales volume and profitability objectives are met.

This will include things such as:

  • Executing North Island Sales strategy
  • Leading North Island Field Team (Sales and Merchandisers)
  • Executes general pricing, promotional pricing and trade margins in cooperation with Account Sales Managers
  • Operating in field by coaching and leading team (some regional travel will be required)
  • Accountability for financials of merchandising budget, TRE etc
  • Lead CRM usage and compliance

To be the best Field Sales Manager, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Action focus – be willing to jump in, be agile, responsive and fast to make decision
  • Commercial astute with strong financial understanding of budgets and trade spend
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills – ability to influence both internally and externally
  • Ability to balance relationship management with importance of data driven insights
  • FMCG experience
  • Experience leading a large and geographically dispersed team
  • Understanding of operating within a matrix organization
